Theatre – The Shakespeare Challenge this year is ‘The Tempest’

As you may or may not know,  I am officially one week away from my Toronto stage debut; I have been

shakespearechallengea production of  with rehearsing a production of “The Tempest” with Shakespeare In Action.

After only 6 weeks of rehearsal, myself and 10 other Toronto Actors will be taking the stage at the Arts & Letters Club on Saturday, February 23rd @ 7:00 p.m.  There will be live music, our brave little performance, food, drink and an amazing silent auction (seriously, AMAZING. Prizes include a Stratford ticket and B&B package)! Tickets are only $40 and are tax-deductible, and all the proceeds raised will go to give greater access to the arts for youth in priority neighbourhoods.

I imagine that the evening itself will prove to be quite hilarious as I think I’ve ALMOST got my ‘thy’s and ‘thou’s and ‘thee’s straight :) I’m playing an Abhorred Slave, Caliban, on stage so it will definitely be amusing for anyone that shows up.

I would love to have all of you there but I totally understand if you have other committments. That being said, I was hoping you could help me with reaching my fundraising goal instead by donating to the cause. Any amount is appreciated!
